31 Days of PINK {Day 27}

Although not completely PINK, the room I recently designed for a client does include one busy PINK comforter that was new and a "must stay" request of theirs. Today's post will be in honor of that Pottery Barn duvet cover. I did my best to tone it down and make it belong.

Here's a few before and afters {before and afters are my FAVORITE}...

And then a few other details...

Budget Breakdown
Black Mirror $35 T.J. Maxx
Two Ticking Throw Pillows $25/ea T.J. Maxx
Throw Blanket $19.99 T.J. Maxx
Black & White Bird Plate $2.99 T.J. Maxx
Glass Dish with Lid {bedside table} $7.99 T.J. Maxx
Urn {top of black armoire} $12.99 T.J. Maxx
Two Baskets {bedside tables} $5.99/ea T.J. Maxx
Two Lamps with Shades $65/ea Pier 1

Total Spent $270.94 {before tax}

Other Secrets
The area rug was swapped out with another one within their home. The busy before rug actually ended up matching the other room better anyway! The rest was just cleaned up {or taken out}, and I gathered filler accessories from within their home too! The best part? Free updates!

I must say, I think it's quite a transformation for less than $300, and it was A LOT of fun to do this project from start to finish. I was even able to style the room when the homeowners were out of town, so they were met with a surprise when they arrived back! I'll chalk it up as a successful FIRST transformation done for someone else...
